Today, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Serbia Maja Popović received Ambassador of France to Serbia Jean-Louis Falconi. Minister Popović and Ambassador Falconi discussed the particularly good cooperation in operational matters between their respective countries. A special topic of their conversation was cooperation between Serbia's and France’s notary chambers, as well as amendments to Serbia’s Constitution.

Minister Popović confirmed Serbia's commitment to acceding to the European Union and the implementation of reforms stemming from the European Union Negotiating Chapter 23.

Ambassador Falconi commended Serbia's commitment to joining the European Union, offering France’s support and cooperation to Serbia in its EU-accession course.

Joining the discussion between the Justice Minister and the Ambassador was Emmanuel Lagron, the Liaison Judge for South-East Europe of the French Embassy to Serbia.
