Today, Minister of Justice Maja Popović received Organised Crime Prosecutor Mladen Nenadić to discuss combating organised crime.

Minister Popović and Prosecutor Nenadić concurred that cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and the Organised Crime Prosecutor’s Office had been productive, and that moving forward it needed to become tighter so as to fight organised crime more effectively and efficiently.

Minister Popović pointed out that combating organised crime was among the top priorities of the new Serbian Government, and that the Justice Ministry would make every effort to contribute to that process.

Minister Popović and Prosecutor Nenadić also touched upon the issue of strengthening capacities of anti-corruption departments under prosecutor’s offices.
