Practical Information

RegistrationDelegations and specially invited participants should fill the online registration form at https://www. https://mpravde.gov.rs/registration/login by 15 October 2019.

For Delegations, it will be possible to register a total of seven (7) persons as part of the official state delegation: Minister/Head of delegation + 2; State/Republic/General Public Prosecutor +1; and Heads of the state bodies in prevention and combating of the corruption +1. 

Delegations and specially invited participants are asked to register once they have information about their itinerary.

We kindly ask that each Delegation also register any additional persons travelling with the Delegation, but who are not considered part of the official Delegation (e.g. Security Officer, Personal Assistant or others).

Upon the online registration, these additional persons must be registered under “Rank” as “Other - not part of the official delegation (e.g. Security Officer, Personal Assistant et al.)”.

Please note that the additional persons will not be given an access badge and therefore do not have access to the Conference venue, Welcome reception, Special dinner etc.

Arrival (and departure) at BelgradeDelegates attending the High-Level International Anti-Corruption Conference travelling by plane are advised to use the Belgrade International Airport "Nikola Tesla".
 
Ministerial/General Public Prosecutor/Heads of the state body for prevention and/or combating of the corruption rank (and delegation members arriving together with him/her), and specially invited participants travelling either by regular or special flight to Belgrade International Airport Nikola Tesla, will be provided with the Meet and Greet/VIP arrival and departure services.

To those concerned, further information regarding the Meet and Greet/VIP services will follow immediately after registration. Transfer of the Heads of Delegations and their travelling party to and from the Belgrade Airport Nikola Tesla is the responsibility of the organizers.

Transportation from and to the airport will not be arranged by the conference organizer. The organizer will officially notify the embassies of the countries from which the official delegations come from, before their arrival.

For Heads of Delegations of Ministerial/General Public Prosecutor/Heads of the state body for prevention and/or combating of the corruption rank (and delegation members arriving together with him/her),   traveling by car, priority border crossing and police escort will be provided.

Accommodation (Ministers/Heads of Delegation, State/Republic/General Public Prosecutors and Heads of the state body for prevention and/or combating of the corruption)
The accommodation has been reserved for each Minister/Head of Delegation, State/Republic/General Public Prosecutor and Head of the state body for prevention and/or combating of the corruption (country) for two nights (03 and 04 November 2019). The expense for this (3 persons per country) will be covered by the organizers.

Ministers/Heads of Delegation, State/Republic/General Public Prosecutors and Heads of the state body for prevention and/or combating of the corruption will be accommodated at Hotel Hyatt Regency Belgrade, Milentija Popovića 5, Beograd.

Check in time for hotels is after 13.00 hours, check out time for hotels is at 12.00 hours.
Accommodation (all other delegation members/participants)
The organizer will also provide the accommodation for each other member of the delegation upon her/his online registration.

For conference occasion the block reservations at preferential rates have been made at Hotel Hyatt Regency Belgrade, Milentija Popovića 5, Beograd. The price is 82 EUR per person (single room per night incl. breakfast and free parking). 

The cost of the accommodation is paid by the participants themselves.

  Conference venueThe Conference venue is located in Belgrade. The address is: Palace “Serbia”- “Serbia” hall, Bulevar Mihajla Pupina 2, Belgrade.

Access is only given to persons carrying access badges or ministerial rank pins. Regarding the access for Security Officers, please see the Security section below.
InterpretationInterpretation during the Conference will be available in the Conference rooms in English and Serbian.

TransportationAll transportation between the venues will be provided by the organizers.
Access Badges and PinsThe Access Badges should be collected Sunday afternoon (03 November 2019) at the Serbian organizer’s ‘Hospitality Desk’ in the lobby of the Hotel Hyatt Regency Beograd and on 04 November 2019, at the Conference venue before the Conference.

The Access Badges for the whole Delegation can be picked up by a member of the Delegation or by the Embassy employees. Due to security considerations, all delegations’ members are required to wear visible access badges at all time. The following are considered as Heads of Delegations of ministerial rank: Ministers, Vice-Ministers, Secretaries of State and General Attorneys.

Serbian Government Officers and Staff will wear Access Badges in a distinct colour.
SecurityDue to security considerations, all delegation members are required to wear visible Access Badges at all times. Prior clearance for weapons carried by Security Officers travelling with Heads of Delegations to Serbia must be sought by notifying the organizers upon online registration. Upon online registration, it is therefore very important to provide contact information (name, phone number and email address) of the person responsible for the armed Security Officers. 

Welcome reception on 03 November 2019The Serbian Minister of Justice will host a welcome reception for all delegation members and other invited persons on Sunday (03 November 2019), in Belgrade. The reception will take place at the National Museum (Narodni muzej), Trg Republike 1a, and beginning at 20.00 hours.

Participants are required to wear their Access Badges.
Gala dinner on 04 November 2019A Gala dinner reception will be hosted by the Serbian Minister of Justice for Ministers/Heads of Delegation, State/Republic/General Public Prosecutors and Heads of the state body for prevention and/or combating of the corruption and other invited persons on Monday (04 November) in Belgrade, at Villa Mir, beginning at 19.00 hours.
Participants are required to wear their Access Badges.

Opening of the eventThe President of the Republic of Serbia will open the High-Level Conference on 04 November 2019. The opening remarks will be followed by the address from the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Serbia - Ms. Nela Kuburović, Ambassador and Head of Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia - Mr. Sem Fabrizi

The first Working SessionThe first Working Session of the Conference will begin at 09.30.
Delegations are invited (but not obliged) to speak. Heads of Delegations of ministerial rank will speak first, according to English alphabetical order. Other Heads of Delegations will then speak in English alphabetical order. Each Head of Delegation will have 3 minutes to speak. There will be a countdown clock in the room.

Simultaneous interpretation during the conference will be available in English and Serbian.
Bilateral meetingsRooms will be available for bilateral meetings. For reservation of the bilateral meeting rooms, please contact us via e-mail.

It will be possible to reserve the meeting rooms in time slots of 30 min. A room can be reserved for a maximum of 1 hour in total per meeting.

Coffee and teaDuring the Conference, coffee and tea will be available at all times at several coffee stations.
LunchLunch will be provided within the conference premises.
Communication and mediaMedia coverage and Press Conferences will be facilitated by the organizers on the spot.
The official opening of the Conference on 04 November 2019 by the Serbian President will briefly be open to the Press for pictures and short statements.
