The Administration for the Enforcement of Penal Sanctions shall perform the following tasks:
- organising, implementing and supervising the enforcement of imprisonment, juvenile prison, security measures of mandatory psychiatric treatment and custody in a medical institution, and mandatory alcohol and drug addiction treatment and rehabilitation in a correctional institution;
- performing tasks related to the preparation of proposals for pardon, amnesty and conditional release;
- monitoring status and implementation of regulations in the field of enforcement of institutional sanctions, and accordingly pointing to the needs and directions related to normative regulation;
- cooperating in the preparation of regulations and performing other tasks related to the enforcement of institutional sanctions.
