Furthermore, he added that in the European integration process Serbia has lots of opportunities, through different international and partner projects with Italy, to work on the implementation of tasks in the fight against corruption, for strengthening legal mechanisms, and particularly in the sphere of prevention in the fight against corruption. "I am sure that this cooperation will be  realised within a short period of time, and particularly when the the Ministry of Justice and the Italian Agency for the Fight Against Corruption are in question", emphasized Mr. Selaković.

The President of the Italian Anti-Corruption National Authority, Mr. Raffaele Cantone, emphasised that the  fight against corruption in Serbia is far more advanced and better than expected, and that Serbia should apply good Italian practices in this field, which will be achieved by sharing experiences between the two countries.

Furthermore, in the meeting, possibilities for signing a Memorandum of Understanding, in order to create better conditions for cooperation in the corruption prevention field, were discussed.
