Minister of Justice Nikola Selakovic met today with the German Ambassador to Serbia H.E. Heinz Wilhelm. The cordial and friendly meeting was about the running topics from the field of judiciary.
The German Ambassador and Minister Selakovic agreed that cooperation between Germany and Serbia existed with respect to the judicial system and the promotion of the rule of law. They also agreed that the cooperation would continue with the aim of supporting the continued implementation of the Serbian National Judicial Reform Strategy.
Ambassador Wilhelm stated that Germany did not decide or determine Serbia’s directions of reform. Instead, he explained, Germany’s role was to provide support in areas which the Serbian Government identified as priority areas.
