“The Ministry of Justice takes sure steps toward the harmonization of the Serbian legislation with the international and European standards for enforcement of criminal sanctions”, said today the State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice, Biljana Pavlović, at the opening ceremony of the Educational seminar for 25 judges responsible for monitoring the enforcement of criminal sanctions in the Republic of Serbia.

State Secretary Pavlović extended special gratitude to the OSCE Mission to Serbia and its devotion and commitment in its daily activities to support Serbia in the project implementation. Furthermore, she wished every success to the judges and fruitful work regarding the enforcement of criminal sanctions through exchange of opinions and experiences.

The participants were also addressed by the President of the Supreme Court of Cassation and High Court Council, Dragomir Milojević, Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, Michael Uyehara, and Director of the Judicial Academy, Nenad Vujić.
