Snežana Malović - Minister

Born September 10th, 1976 in Belgrade. Graduated Belgrade University Faculty of Law, 1999.

Law clerk 1999-2001. Passed Juridicial Examination in 2002. Post-graduate student of Belgrade University Faculty of Law.

Deputy Secretary to the Ministry of Justice and Local Self-Administration, 2001- 2002; Private Secretary of the Minister of Justice and Local Self-Administration, 2002-2003.

General Secretary of the War Crimes Prosecution Service, 2004-2007.

Author of numerous projects dealing with the judiciary. Participated in working groups drafting diverse legislation and in many seminars and international conferences on international humanitarian law, war crimes in the region, fighting corruption and organised crime and the public administration.

Appointed State Secretary in November 2007.

 

Slobodan Homen - State Secretary

b. Belgrade, 19th April 1972. Grad. Belgrade University Faculty of Law. Passed Juridicial Examination 2001.

Completed John F. Kennedy School of Government Executive Network Program at Harvard University, 2001.

Engaged in private law practice 1996-2007, as law clerk and then lawyer.

Lectured at numerous seminars, including Economies of the Transition Countries (Washington, USIP), the World Peace Forum (Japan), the World Movement for Democracy (NED).

Appointed Assistant Minister in November 2007.

Gordana Pualić - State Secretary

b. Subotica , 13th March 1956. Grad. Belgrade University Faculty of Law 1980. Passed Juridicial Examination 1985.

Employed as legal expert in “ZTP Beograd”. Engaged in private law practice as lawyer.

President of Executive Board of Municipality Cukarica, 1997-2000.

State Secretary in Ministry of Local Self Government

The Secretary of Judicial Training Center until appointed State Secretary in Ministry of Justice in July 2008.

Maja Matija Ristić - Secretary

Born on November 13th, 1970 in Belgrade. Graduated at Law Faculty in Belgrade in 1997.  Specialized in European Law in 1999.

Worked in Federal Office for Intellectual Property from 1998-2000.

Chief of Cabinet of the Minister of Culture and Media from 2002 till 2004.

Secretary of the Commission on fight against Piracy of the Government of Serbia from 2004-2006.

Advisor of the Minister of Culture in charge of public procurement and normative affairs from 2004-2008.

Head of the Department for General and Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Culture from 2008.
Appointed Secretary in February 2009.

 

Vojkan Simić - Assistant Minister in Charge of Normative Affairs and International Cooperation

b. Prokuplje, 1961. Grad. Belgrade University Faculty of Law, 1987.

Passed Juridicial Examination 1991.

Judge of the First Municipal Court in Belgrade till 2001.

President of the First Municipal Court in Belgrade, 2001-2005.

Involved in private law practice 2005-2008 as lawyer.

Appointed Assistant Minister in September 2008.

Vukica Bućković - Assistant Minister in Charge of Material and Financial Operations

b. Niš, 24th October 1970.

Grad. Belgrade University Economics Faculty, 1993.

Employed as a broker at the Belgrade Stock Exchange 1993-99.

Assistant director of VIP Progress, Nicosia (Cyprus), 1999-2000.

Financial analyst in the Austrian company Teletrader, 2000-04.

Financial advisor with the Agency for the Development of Local Self-Administration Infrastructure from February 2004.

Appointed Assistant Minister in June 2007.

Married, with two children.

Dejan Pašić - Assistant Minister in Charge of Information Technology

b. Belgrade, 26th July 1973. Grad. Belgrade University Faculty of Law, 1997. Passed Juridicial Examination in Belgrade, 2000.

Employed at the Commercial Court in Belgrade 1998-2004: initially as trainee judge and then senior assistant judge.

Legal advisor in the CCASA project for reforming commercial court administrations in Serbia, 2004-07. Served as project coordinator for the working group engaged in compiling standarised statistical reports for all first-instance commercial courts and the working group for a standardised manner of work in those courts. Participated in organising staff training in the system of commercial courts of Serbia in using automatic statistical data collection (APP) software and automatic case processing (AVP) software.

Appointed Assistant Minister in November 2007.

Dragana Lukić - Assistant Minister for European integration and international projects

b. 4th August 1975 in Belgrade.

Graduated at the Belgrade University, Faculty of Economics, March 1999. Successfully completed Diplomatic Academy in 2004.

Successfully completed the State expert exam for the work in state administration in 2002. Post-graduate student of Business Economics at the Singidunim University in Belgrade.  

From September 2001 continuously worked on different positions in the state administration. During the last six years leaded donor coordination aid in judiciary area and managed different international projects.   

Worked as a manager and consultant of numerous international and regional organizations such as World Bank, European Union, UNDP, OSCE as well as on the projects of bilateral donors and nongovernmental organizations in the judiciary area. Dealing with the European integration process since 2004. Contributed to the work of numerous working groups in the creation of different laws and legislations in the judicial sector reform, attended numerous international conferences and seminars, as well as contributed to the creation of the National Judicial Reform Strategy. 

Since August 2008 special advisor to the Minister of Justice for the European integration and international projects. 

In November 2008 appointed as Assistant Minister of Justice for European integration and international projects. 

 

Jugoslav Stojiljković - Director of the Directorate for Management of Seized and Confiscated Assets

Born in Kosovska Mitrovica on November 24th, 1959. Graduated at Niš University- Faculty of Law in 1987. Passed Juridical Examination in 2001.

Manager of legal and personnel affairs in the firm "FIAZ", until 2001.

Secretary of the Municipal Assembly in Prokuplje, 2001-2003; from 2003 held the post of the Head of the Municipal Administration in Prokuplje.

Secretary of the Ministry of Justice from November 2007 till January 2009.

Appointed Director of the Directorate for Management of Seized and Confiscated Assets by the Government of the Republic of Serbia on January 15, 2009.

 

Milan Obradović - Director of the Administration for Enforcement of Penal Sanctions

b. Beograd, 1960. Grad. Belgrade University Faculty of Law.

Employed in Police Department in Belgrade till 2000 and Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs till 2001.

Section Head of Police Department in Belgrade, 2001-2004.

Appointed Director of the Administration for Enforcement of Penal Sanctions in October 2008.
